Dana Blickley has been a resident of Brevard County for over 27 years. She has been married to her husband Brian for over 23 years. They have two children Jessica (a senior at the University of Central Florida) and Jared (a sophomore at Brevard community college).
Dana’s community involvement includes serving as a Board of Director and the Countywide Resource Coordinator for National Veterans Homeless Support, Inc., a member of the Leadership Council for the Brevard Schools Foundation Take Stock in Children Program as well as a mentor for children in the program; and she serves as a Board of Director for the Brevard Aiding Shelter Animals Project (Brevard ASAP).
Dana Blickley has a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida.
Dana’s experience in mass appraisal and property tax administration in the Brevard County Property Appraiser’s office spans over 20 years. During that time, she worked in literally every department or was responsible for the department. She is the former Director of Tax Roll and Director of the Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) System for the Appraisers office.
Her mission is to create a model constitutional office that Brevard residents will be proud of and the other 66 jurisdictions will look to for best practices in the fields of mass appraisal and property tax administration.
